SilverScreen Solar Shades
SilverScreen

Solar Shades are the number one energy saver.

SilverScreen gives the best possible view to the outside, glare control, and heat reduction.

This incredible fabric, known industry-wide as the leader in solar protection, eliminates 82 percent of solar effects, enabling a 62% reduction in energy consumption.

SilverScreen is a woven vinyl-coated fiberglass yarn with a 5% openness factor, and consists of an ultra-fine layer of aluminum applied to the exterior face of the solar screen fabric.

The ultra-fine layer of aluminium on a screen fabric dramatically improves the solar energy performance, while demonstrating excellent view through. Besides, SilverScreen adds a contemporary style to architectural design on the interior as well as on the exterior of the building; functional meets decorative.

The visual glare and heat gain properties of common screens depend on the color of the screen. With SilverScreen, thanks to the aluminum layer on the reverse side, these properties are practically independent of the color of the screen.

Silver Screen solar shades are energy efficient and contribute to greater year round savings on cooling and heating costs. In summer the fabric reflects solar heat outward and in winter it reduces heat loss through windows by approximately 20% at night.

SilverScreen can be called a green product!

SilverScreen is produced environmentally friendly, it has the Greenguard Indoor Air Quality certification and the Greenguard Children and Schools certification and is formaldehyde free. This means that SilverScreen does not contain any harm causing elements for our health. Besides, during the summer SilverScreen keeps the warmth outside, due to the reflecting metal layer and it will reduce the loss of warmth during the winter. This results in considerable savings on the costs of energy (airconditioning, heating etc.), but it also reduces the amount of CO2-emissions.
