3G Mermet Flocke meets the highest demand for total light blocking, excellent solar heat reduction and flame safety. Their flocked finish gives them a rich look. They are durable and washable.
When installed with sufficient overlap of windows (mounting the shade above the window and beyond the window frame) exterior light will be mostly eliminated.

Shades have 1/2-inch gaps on both sides between the edge of the fabric and the end of the roller bracket (if light control is critical, outside mount is recommended)
If total darkness is required for rooms such as home theaters, media rooms, light sensitive laboratories, security rooms and sleep rooms this shade fabric can be used with our optional Fascia, Side Channels and Sill Channel system.
